Teacher Vivien

She graduated from California State University, San Francisco in 1996 and earned a Bachelor degree in Businesses Administration with an emphasis on Finance. She found her passion of teaching since 2000, accomplished her child development certificate in 2003 and director training program in 2013. She also received her master in education specialization in early childhood education and curriculum and instruction from Portland State University in 2017.  Prior receiving the degree, she was also fortunate to travel to Reggio Emilia, Italy as part of an international study tour for educators. She is step 11 in Oregon Registry, trained in First Aid/CPR, holds food handlers card and listed in Central Background Registry.

Her professional roles have included all of these:

  • Classroom teacher

  • After school enrichment teacher

  • Mandarin Chinese teacher/private tutor

  • Reggio-inspired art teacher

  • Technology teacher

  • CDA Professional Specialist

  • Business manager
