What are the benefits of being bilingual?

Is your program licensed by Child Care Division (CCD)?

No.  RSCS is a license exempt program but we are recorded with the division.  All of our teachers and volunteers have to be 18 years and older and passed criminal background check.  Please click our staff to read more about the lead teacher and proceed to Child Care Division FAQ to learn more about "Recorded Program".

How long is each class?

Half day preschool programs are being held 4-hour a day morning preschool with extended after school care program.
Our after school language lessons are approximately 45-90 minutes long depending on the age of children.

What do you teach in class?

Class activities include music and movement, drawing, cooking, craft, culture traditions, storytelling, dialogues, Chinese calligraphy, and brush painting in both Mandarin Chinese and English languages.

Is the class taught by a native speaker?

Yes, all classes are instructed by native speaker(s) who are fluent in both reading and writing in Mandarin Chinese/English.

Is the teacher CPR/First Aid trained?

Yes, our teacher(s) are CPR/First Aid certified and also hold food handlers card, and are being recognized by Oregon Registry.
